Subir Varma, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Subir serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, where he teaches graduate-level courses on Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning. He holds more than 50 U.S. Patents and has authored books on Deep Learning and Internet Congestion Control. He has been involved in the Technology Industry for over 25 years and was a founder of Broadband Wireless pioneer Aperto Networks.

Subir holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Shekhar Kshirsagar, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Shekhar has over 25 years of experience working in the Technology industry. He holds more than 20 US Patents and specializes in software development and architecture of complex systems. Shekhar’s work experience spans both startups and multinational companies, and his most recent startup Plursona was acquired by Aruba Networks (now HP). Shekhar currently works as a Principal Engineer at Cisco Systems.

Shekhar holds an MBA from Santa Clara University, MS Computer Science from UMass Lowell, and BE Computer Science from the University of Pune, India.

Francois Le, General Partner

Francois has over 30 years of experience in the high tech industry. He has served in senior executive positions at a number of Silicon Valley start-ups and public companies, including as Corporate Officer at Network Equipment Technologies (acquired by Sonus, now Ribbon Communications). He built and managed global sales at Broadband Wireless pioneer Aperto Networks.

Francois holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an Engineering Diploma (Diplome d'Ingenieur) from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA-Lyon) in France.
